Hi all,

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second baby (measuring at 37) and since yesterday I've been having what feels like contractions. However they're around 2 hours apart and not really painful. I have no idea what it feels like to go into labour naturally as I was induced with my first and all I can remember is going from feeling absolutely nothing to sudden, really intense contractions.

So basically my question is could this be the slow start of labour? Or could it also be nothing?

I've had braxton hicks before and it feels a bit worse than that but nothing even remotely close to what I experienced with my first :)

Have you had enough to drink? As I got contractions early but far apart when I got a bit dehydrated

Id drink plenty, have a chill out for a couple hours and monitor it, if they start to get closer and stronger then it may very well be the start of labour or you could be dehydrated or overdone it a bit. Either way good luck as it's an exciting time!

Take some paracetamol, have a warm
Bath, make sure you're hydrated and put your feet up. If it’s labour you will know about it as they will ramp up
