Hi All,

So on and off for years I’ve had Cervicitis (never officially diagnosed as my gp doesn’t believe in it) I’ve always gone to a GUM clinic and they’ve done swabs and examined me! Sometimes there’s been BV present, sometimes thrush, sometimes nothing and seems like it’s hormonal - it’s been bad enough in the past that I have pus present in my discharge (sorry tmi) on those occasions I’ve been given antibiotics I’m now 12 weeks pregnant and have NO IDEA what to do as Gum clinics have stopped walkins unless you have come in contact with an STD. I’m getting all my usual symptoms a lot of watery discharge, burning, discomfort, constantly needing to pee - and now I’m super bloated and getting some sharp pains in my stomach! I’m terrified as I’ve read it can cause blindness in babies, miscarriages etc ! Any ideas where I can get help?! I have my midwifes mobile number but not sure they answer calls on weekends? Also mine seem a bit useless, couldn’t even get in contact to change an appointment and tried for two weeks!! Do I go to hospital?

Thanks x

@Amtheyest17
I would give the maternity ward a wee call and c what they say.

Sorry you’re experiencing this 😔 I’d phone 111 and they’re likely to get you an out of hours GP appt who’ll call you today. It could be worth ringing your maternity unit but they may suggest 111 to speak with a doctor. I hope you get it sorted soon x
