I’m 20 weeks and my scan is on Tuesday. I have only just remembered that when my daughter was born it was discovered I had a succenturiate placenta. Basically a placenta and then a thin line and another smaller placenta. The midwifes very much tried to brush it under the carpet but it occurred to me at the time that there reaction was odd.

I haven’t mentioned this to any healthcare professionals this time around because I simply forgot. Should I mention it at my scan and more importantly is it likely to happen again? I’m hoping it was a freak occurrence last time!
