Hi everyone.
I'm 35+5 weeks today.
I had a scan last night due to reduced fetal movements but all seemed good thank goodness!
Baby has been measuring quite a bit ahead this whole pregnancy.
Was tested for gestational diabetes at 21 weeks which was to early as you are to be tested usually after 24 weeks (hospitals own mistake) and tests came back clear, have been asking to be tested again for it but they won't take me.
I'm 35+5 and baby is measuring 7 pounds according to scan, I know these aren't always accurate but my last baby was 9 pounds natural birth and his estimated weight was 7 and a half pounds when I got a scan the night before I gave birth and I ended up with bad tearing so you can see why i am nervous at the fact baby is weighing 7 pounds and I have another 4 weeks to go!!
Anyone any experience with this?

I had growth scans in my first pregnancy and they were pretty accurate for me. DS was 8lb9 born at 39+4 no tearing.

Ive had growth scans again this time and had my 37week appointment yesterday and weighing 7.5lbs. Also nervous about having a large baby especially if she carries on growing the rate she is. Consultant spoke to me about inductions and are happy to sweep at 38weeks. I’m unsure what I want to do but I definitely want to prevent going over my due date.

Could you request a c-section or induction before your due date?
