Pregnancy test

I took a pregnancy test last night and this morning and both have faint positive lines.
I have a 6 month old and haven't missed a period. I came off my period on the 24th August and had unprotected sex on the 30th.
It was pull out sex. Then i started slightly bleeding on the 31st and stopped and started.
I have started bleeding slight again this after noon.
Please could someone give me a bit of advice and see what they think.

If the only unprotected sex you had was 3 days ago it wouldn’t be showing up yet on a pregnancy test. You’d have conceived a couple of weeks before a faint positive. Your cycle might be a bit all over the place though if you have a six mo old, is it possible you could have conceived two weeks ago?

It’s not very helpful but the only thing you can do is wait a few days and retest. If you get another positive you are most likely pregnant.

The last time we had unprotected sex before that was the 20th August. And then I started what I thought was my period on the 21st. But thinking back it wasn't like a normal period so I'm not sure at all. And I wouldn't mind at all being pregnant again

You’re pregnant from the sex on the 20th August, not from the sex on the 30th. It’s about two weeks ago so perfect timing for a positive test.

Light Bleeding can happen for loads of reasons other than a period - implantation, cervical irritation from sex.

Of course it could also be that you’re having a very early miscarriage.

Test again in a few days - but at the time of that test you were pregnant. Congrats!

I am bleeding bright red now. So guessing my loosing it.

Hang on in there a few more days and test again. You never know. I have my fingers crossed for you x

I tested this morning and it's still faint. But I'm bleeding. So I will wait a week now and see what's going on. Thank you so much xxx
