Morning sickness help

Ugh.

I thought I'd got away with it, I thought I'd remembered Morning sickness to be worse than it was. Ha!

I'm currently 8 weeks from first day of last period and about 4 days ago morning sickness hit.

I was expecting it since week 6 and when it didn't really arrive, maybe a little off but I think I was just searching for it.

Now it's here and I'm hating it!

My last 2 pregnancies were 11 and 12 years ago so I'm also a whole decade older (39 years) and a worse patient.

Please help a girl out if you have any good advice.

In the absence of any other carbonated drinks last night (craving!) I ended up drinking some tonic water that I swear was a perfect remedy, however I read today quinine is something to avoid 😫

Coke ! Sugary coke ! Also, chewing gum. I chewed the bubble gum extras a lot. I hope you feel better soon. I had nausea for the whole nine months. After eating mainly. It was horrible, but usually, for the majority of women it does not last that long.

My daughter had very thick hair when she was born, like a carpet. Perhaps I had nausea instead of reflux.

Feel better soon and rest !

Fresh strawberries. I vomited daily till month 8, and felt nauseous all the time. Fresh fruit from the fridge basically kept me alive! My diet for 9 months was essentially strawberries, peanut butter on dry toast, crackers and cheese. You have my sympathy OP x

Thank you all for your responses.

To say I'm feeling utterly fed up is an understatement, i experiences nothing like this in my other 2 pregnancies and the constant feeling of nausea is just willing me to wish to be asleep for the next 4 weeks.

I've sent my DP out for supplies, hope something works 🤞🤞

....I'm keeping hold of some faith that the nausea will disappear for me at week 12 🙏🙏
