Anusol cream for piles

Hi, my midwife said to try this as it apparently shrinks the piles but I'm a bit concerned because several articles online say not to use it. Does anyone use it? Is it okay to use and does it work?

I recently used it during pregnancy I asked the midwife first she said it was fine.
I've had no issues with using it. piles have now gone

Hi hope you don't mind me messaging on the thread I'm really struggling with haemorrhoid I'm only about 7 weeks pregnant. Haven't seen midwife yet and can't get gp appointment was planning to buy anusol over counter and use just wondered how you got on. Did it help shrink it I'm in so much pain and so uncomfortable. Hope your OK.
