My stretch marks are around my belly button too.Fortunately theyre not quite that striking... I didnt have ANY AT ALL until the due date, then from then on until the birth (nine days later) they started appearing, only around my belly button. DD was constantly kicking very hard outwards, and was tucked in the wrong way round too (she should have been facing my back, not outwards- led to a very difficult labour).

But my stretch marks are embarrassing. I am back to my former figure which is quite slim. But I now have a granny like wrinkly belly. Why did I not get a few discreet ones at the side of my tummy?

Blimey! I've been feeling a bit down about mine recently but I had no idea they could be like that. Am torn between being relieved that they're not and loving that photo at the same time.

it's also interesting, shreddies, that a lot of the others seem to have the marks photoshopped out. och it's all bloody amazing, isn't it, what our bodies do?
