Hey ladies, it’s been a long week of finding out I’m pregnant. I have done so many pregnancy tests to keep looking if there getting darker. Iv had some mild aches in my grown area on the right & left side. I have the worst anxiety thinking I have lost this baby as I no symptoms what so ever, I have googled every part of early pregnancy and feel a complete mess. I have a early scan next Thursday, for re current miscarriages. I will post my pregnancy tests. I also done a clue blue last week which was 2-3 weeks, but nervous to do another.

@Calbooo
Pregnancy after miscarriage is awful I have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp and each time I fall pregnant I tell myself no matter how I feel is not going to help the outcome, just remember different egg different sperm and your still really early for symptoms 💚

bez91 · 02/09/2021 08:32

Hi @Calbooo tentative congratulations. Are you under the recurrent mc clinic through your local hospital? I couldn't work out from your post. I'm also a recurrent MC sufferer. @Babyghirl is right it's so so tough but it's a different egg and a different sperm.
There's a book I'll be buying if I get pregnant again and past a certain stage it's called "Pregnancy after loss" by Zoe Clark-Coats and a lot of similar women have raved about it.
Wishing you well 💕

Babyghirl · 02/09/2021 08:47

@bez91
I'm with the rmc now myself I'm in a group for ttc after a miscarriage if you wana hop over and join us ladies for support the group is amazing.

MollySxx · 02/09/2021 09:09

I'm also pregnant after 4 miscarriages in the space of a year. My recent one being in March of this year. I found out I was pregnant last Tuesday, I'm 6 weeks today. So I completely agree with the feeling on anxiety. I have tried my very hardest not to feed into googling things. Last time it drove me insane. I've been signed off work for 2 weeks with stress just so I can relax up until my scan that I have next Thursday when I'll be 7 weeks.

Sending so much love your way, you've got this🌈

Calbooo · 02/09/2021 09:47

@Babyghirl Yh I am assigned. Basically baby was sick last year. Terminated at 16 weeks as there was many things wrong. 2 CP then another pregnancy this year. I
Do have a child who is 5. It really is hard, to not think the worst all the time.

I’m 24 weeks pregnant and have had basically no symptoms at all. Getting a bit achey now, but that’s it. Nothing else.

Baby is absolutely fine and healthy. Please don’t let the lack of symptoms worry you Flowers

Calbooo · 02/09/2021 09:51

@bez91yes I am u see them. I’m currently taking baby aspirin. I do have a child already by another dd. It’s so draining for me. I actually have the worst outcome in my head but trying to stay away from testing.

@Calbooo the week wait seems forever doesn't it? I just keep telling myself once the weekend has been and gone I'll be in the week and I'll just have the first 3 days to get through and then it'll be Thursday. Im getting really nervous the more it gets closer. I just wish I had the innocence of a pregnancy without worry. Please keep me updated x

morningvenus · 02/09/2021 10:41

@Calbooo - I completely understand what you are going through. This is my first pregnancy after 2 MCs, 1 CP & 3 failed IVF treatments. I am 10 weeks, have practically no symptoms except am gassy sometimes & extreme tiredness. I developed OHSS at the start of the pregnancy.
I am super nervous too. The first thing I do every morning is check my bed for blood :( :( That's how much I can't believe it's happening.
I have a 12-week scan in about 2 weeks. I am dead nervous as I have never come this far before.

Just like you, I did many tests in early pregnancy. And the test line was lighter / darker / practically not there / then darker again. I was driving myself crazy so I just threw all the tests in the bin

What I have learned from my journey is that googling for symptoms is useless. It adds a ton of worries & provides very little help. Internet is divided 50/50 on almost everything.

I think it's best to post your concerns & questions on here. I have received much better help here than google :)

I wish you all the best for this pregnancy.

Calbooo · 02/09/2021 11:06

@MollySxx I k ow right. It’s lucky I do have a child and I’m still working that keeps my mind off things. I really do hope that all go’s well for you! Defo keep update cause I find these things don’t get updated which is always a help x

@morningvenus It really is a bundle of stress. Have u had a scan to say the sac was in its right place with the IVF ?

Yh my tests was light to then dark, then a bit lighter. I was going to buy more today but I just can’t. I’m just praying 🙏

Stay in contact and I hope your 12 week scan will be a bundle of joy. Once your past that it will be amazing x

Are you ladies on progesterone, baby aspirin? I'm on 400mg progesterone twice daily and 75mg baby apron twice a day to make it to 150mg a day x

morningvenus · 02/09/2021 11:37

@Calbooo - Yes, I was going to the Early Pregnancy Unit as A&E referred me there, after diagnosing OHSS.
I had a scan at 6 weeks 3 days. The baby measured 6 weeks.
But the sac, yolk sac & heartbeat were there. the fluid had reduced by more than 50% so they discharged me

morningvenus · 02/09/2021 11:39

@Calbooo - Yes, don't by more tests. As soon as your scan is done, refer yourself to midwife / or ask GP depending on how it's done in your area. Once you start having appointments with midwife, you will have something to look forward to. That will make you feel a bit better.

lawandgin · 02/09/2021 11:46

@morningvenus a fellow IVF pregnancy and OHSS sufferer over here! Wishing you good luck for your 12 week scan. I am only 5+3 and the OHSS is still very bad, so I was pleased to read that yours has improved. I've gained 10kg and 11 inches on my waist! I have a scan at the clinic tomorrow and I'm praying to see the sac at least. Like you, I can't quite believe I am pregnant and feel like it's all just going to go wrong x

Calbooo · 02/09/2021 12:30

@MollySxx yeah I’m on 75g of aspirin my progesterone things have beeen a night mate to get hold of, but hopefully today !

MollySxx · 02/09/2021 12:41

@Calbooo oh don't start me on the nightmare I had trying to get hold of them my last pregnancy. Thank god I still had loads left for this pregnancy, so I have 4 weeks worth as of right now! Just keep pushing them, it was my doctors that didn't do it correctly. But I just hounded them. So thankfully this time I've been on them since the day I had my positive test x

Calbooo · 02/09/2021 12:48

@MollySxx yeah I emailed them not long ago. Il call them after lunch. Do you symptoms yet

OP posts:
MollySxx · 02/09/2021 13:42

@Calbooo I've got some sickness which comes and goes. I've not been physically sick. I've had small cramps also, along with lower back ache. Which I've been told is nothing to worry about, tender boobs but that is also a progesterone side affect. Some days I just feel normal which does worry me

morningvenus · 02/09/2021 14:03

@lawandgin - Oh no.. so sorry to hear that. They told me it will take several weeks to get better. At 4 weeks my tummy felt like 4-5 months. It was that big. It has definitely reduced in size. My tummy still feels quite bloated & is still big but at least I am able to wear my pajamas & leggings.

Yours will improve too - take lots & lots of rest, try to eat healthy & drink lots of fluids. Just water is fine too.

I had a scan at 5+3 or 4 too & there was only a gestational sac. One of the nurses scared me by saying 'we do expect to see a yolk sac, but maybe it's too early for you. Hope it works out for you.. awwww'. That awwww was in such a tone I felt it's over. But it wasn't.

So don't worry about what you see & don't see tomorrow. It's way too early. Plus due to OHSS & all the swelling & fluid build-up, they won't get a clear view. They will struggle; at least with me, they did.

All the best for your scan tomorrow. Let's keep in touch

lawandgin · 02/09/2021 14:17

@morningvenus that is such a lovely message, thank you! I'm sorry to hear what was said at your scan. I sometimes think the staff become completely desensitised because it's their job and forger that this is one of the most stressful and emotional things their patients will go through. I think I am partly freaking out because I had a scan on Monday at 5 weeks and she said she thought she could see the sac but wasn't sure and also because I did a clearblue digital yesterday at 5+2 and it still said 2-3 weeks. The stupid thing is I know those tests aren't reliable, they said 1-2 weeks when my HCG was over the threshold for 2-3 weeks, but I can't help being so negative! I'm not testing now, I made sure I flushed away my FMU without hesitation this morning and I will just see what happens tomorrow. I would really like to stay in touch and hopefully everything will be positive for both of us x

morningvenus · 02/09/2021 15:33

@lawandgin - Aah I see. I can understand these CB tests with weeks can be very worrying.
Tomorrow is not much far now. Take a break from google & Mumsnet and do something that you like or can be a good distraction.

And good luck for tomorrow. will be thinking about you

lawandgin · 03/09/2021 17:26

@morningvenus just to let you know my scan went well today and the sac was there and looking good. No yolk sac or fetal pole yet but I am back for another scan on Tuesday because of the OHSS, so fingers crossed for then! Hope you are OK today.
