Not finding heartbeat immediately at scan

Hi guys, I can’t find any info on this - I went for my 12 week scan last week and it took the sonographer maybe 1minute to see the heartbeat. She didn’t say why - I think baby was in funny position but I’ve had 2 missed miscarriages before so was incredibly triggering for me. Sonographer was not empathetic, she said everything was on track but I can’t get the heartbeat situation out of my head. Has anybody else had it where they haven’t seen it straight away? Was it all normal? So appreciative of replies.

I had two previous miscarriages & with my current pregnancy i remember at 12 weeks it took her a good minute or so to find the heartbeat which also put me straight into panic mode as you're right — it's triggering. However I'm now 17 weeks & she's able to find the heartbeat within seconds.

I'm taking every day as a new day & appreciating the good at each point. This helps lessen my anxiety by a little I guess. So don't worry, your little bean is just hiding in there. Sooon it'll be growing so fast that you'll be in and out of the scan room in no time xxx

During my first scan the nurse couldn't find anything ( early scan) we had to sit and wait for the doctor to do another scan.

We have two health teens.

I remember trying not to panic waiting for the second scan.
