Hi I'm currently 9+4 weeks and up till a day or so ago I'm been having bad nausea and occasionally being sick, also very sore boobs. Over the last couple of days I feel like the symptoms have really gone down and nearly stopped, can anyone tell me if this can be normal for around this time or if this has happened to them and they have gone on to have a successful pregnancy.

I'm in panic mode now as I've had 3 miscarriages since having my son 3 years ago (I can't really remember my pregnancy with him). I had an early scan at almost 7 weeks and there was a heart beat but now I'm convincing myself that something is wrong and I'm going to be getting bad news at my 12 weeks scan.

Any advice would be appreciated Smile

Hi,
I didn't want to read and run. But this is about the time the placenta starts to take over so symptoms can ease off. But every pregnancy is different and after suffering your previous losses I would say get yourself booked in for an early reassurance scan if you can afford one. Then it will help put your mind at ease x
Also contact your midwife and see what they say, especially considering your history.
Best of luck XXX

First trimester symptoms with me fell away around that time.

This happened to me between 10 and 11 weeks, suddenly stopped needing a nap every single day and felt less sore generally. I was also worried but 12 week scan was a few weeks ago and everything was fine! Have also generally felt much better since then. The placenta is really magical...!

This happened to me at about the same time. It lasted about a week, and then gradually all the symptoms came back. I was terrified, but am now 34 weeks and everything is going well.

This was the same with my 2 previous pregnancies, I remember having a meltdown to my husband during the second pregnancy because all of my symptoms had vanished before I had even had my first scan, I had convinced myself something was wrong. Everything was fine though and i actually had 2 babies bouncing around in there lol I'm still very early this pregnancy so symptoms are still in full force 🙈
