Yes
I'm sure my sister got prescribed huge bottles of gaviscon. I managed with rennies

Yes, midwife told me to take rennies and it says suitable for pregnancy on it. Told her I was on gaviscon and she seemed to think this was fine also.

Have to say they don't make too much difference to me. Have tried diaphragmatic breathing, and although it's only been a few days, but it's made a real difference to the acid reflux.it's a bit of a faff at the beginning, but find myself doing it without thinking now. And honestly anything that'll stop the reflux at night I'll try

Yeah, rennies & gaviscon are definitely fine in pregnancy, I had terrible heartburn & was using these in large amounts & they weren't helping me at all so I got a prescription from the doctor for omeprazole tablets which have been amazing for me.

I agree with jolota, this is my second pregnancy and I was using gaviscon and rennies, but they weren’t the best. I’ve now been on omeprazole for 4 weeks and what a difference. Its actually helped with nausea too and I can eat larger portions of food. They took effect the same day. Wish I was prescribed them for my first pregnancy
