I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I have pain in what I think is my cervix. When I'm stood or walking about and sometimes terribly sore after a pee.
Anyone else had this ? I'm worried about preterm labour.

Call your maternity unit's triage line, no matter that it's 9.30 at night. They will let you know if they want you to go in for a check. They would always rather you let them know if you're worried about any pains or feelings. Xxx

I would second the advice to call your maternity unit right away. They can monitor you and hopefully offer reassurance.

I had terrible pains and contractions at 34 weeks I called and they told me to come in to be on the safe side, everything was fine but it was best to get the cervix checked to be sure

I would check to be sure but I distinctly remember especially with my first that he would stretch and it genuinely felt like he was going to try please his arm out of my cervix and it would sometimes feel like electric shocks. As before said maternity triage are there for a reason, don't hesitate to call them 🙂

I know this probably doesn't help but my son was born at 35 weeks (but measuring at 34 weeks) and he is doing very well.

At 36 weeks you won't need the steroid injections for your baby's lungs and the outcomes are just as good as for full term (I did a lot of googling as I was very worried about an early baby Blush)

All the best OP Flowers

Thanks for the advice.
I'm wondering if it's just the pure pressure of him pressing down.
I am generally uncomfortable RN. No regular tightenings or anything. He's moving normally.
I have terrible lower back pain tho
