Could I be pregnant?

Hi All,

My partner and I have just started trying again after we sadly suffered a couple of miscarriages.

We did the deed the day before I ovulated, and according to several websites I shouldn’t test for another 4 days in case of a false negative, but the wait is killing me!

So I just wanted to know if any of you have fallen pregnant by trying the day before ovulation?

If you look at the statistics most pregnancies occur from having sex the day before ovulation rather than the day itself or day after

It's better for the sperm to be waiting for the egg rather than the other way around - because an egg is only really good for around 12 hours and also because sperm has to go through a little known process called capacitation before it can even fertilise an egg and that can take up to 10 hours so you can see that if you only have sex the day of ovulation you can consistently fail
To conceive

Good luck! 🤞

Nothing to say that will help you except good luck!
And I guess try, as hard as it is, to keep your mind occupied the next few days and they'll go quicker x

We had sex the day before ovulation, and I'm 15 weeks tomorrow. That was the only time we did it as other half was going away for the weekend 😂
I tested at 7dpo and for a faint positive, and a proper positive at 9dpo x

Thank you!

That’s exactly what I plan to do just try and stay busy until it’s time to test!
