Hi all just wondering if anyone has had this happen, I have just found out I am 6weeks and 1day pregnant, over the weekend I have been having pink/brownish blood when I wipe, after using the toilet, I have previously had 7 miscarriages so it is scary, I will call the epu tomorrow morning and see if they could get me in to see what's happening.

I have had bleeding in all 3 of my pregnancies, the first 2 unfortunately were losses. In my current pregnancy I had bleeding at 7, 9 & 12 weeks. I was scanned at EPU each time & baby was fine. They think the bleeding was caused by a cervical ectropion. I'm now 28 weeks.

Really hoping everything turns out well for you OP Thanks

@Lianakel1989 Just wanted to say I hope it works out for you. Wishing you the best of luck.

I'm in a similar boat. I've got brownish spotting at 5+4 weeks, plus a loss of symptoms and the other day I did a test that was much fainter than earlier. I think it's over for me. Third loss in six months. Sad

@Jackjack84 im so sorry to hear of your losses, but big congratulations on your pregnancy, I had a daughter 8years ago and since she turnt 2years have been trying for baby number 2, so disheartening seeing blood on tissue.

I'm so sorry to hear that hun it's so scary, I've been thru it enough times, the only way to know for sure is to get a scan, I hope it's not the end for you, keep positive until you know for sure. X

@Lianakel1989 I know the feeling well, before this pregnancy bleeding only ever meant one thing so every time I had bleeding this time I was convinced it was all over. Still don't honestly believe I'll actually have a baby sometimes!

Have you had any investigations for recurrent miscarriage?

Lianakel1989 · 30/08/2021 18:39

@jackjack84 that's exactly how I feel now, bleeding never goes well for me but I am praying that it is just some left over blood in my cervix which is where the blood is coming from, doesn't help when you are constantly googling answers, makes it worse if I'm tbh lol, yes hun I have I have a septate uterus which means my uterus is being divided down the middle by a muscular band of tissue, the embryo keeps attaching on to this and without a blood supply are not surviving, I have been on the waiting list for surgery for a couple of years now and still waiting, one consultant I spoke to said there is no reason why you can't keep trying as you have already had one successful pregnancy so your body can do it, I guess it's just a matter where the embryo implants I guess.
