Sleeping on your back

I tend to sleep a lot on my front and back. I'm now 15 weeks and sleeping on my front is getting uncomfortable but I still continue to sleep on my back, most of the time unknowingly. But when does it start to become unsafe to sleep on you back and will I need a pregnancy pillow to prevent me doing this? I've got a bit of a bump which is probably mostly bloat, but sleeping hasn't become uncomfortable for me yet, just worried that my sleeping positions my be dangerous for the baby.

I started with the pillow quite early to get used to it. Eventually I got so tired it was easy to sleep with it!

Everything I have read says to sleep on your side from 28 weeks. It’s probably worth starting a bit earlier just to try and get used to it.

I was given one of those huge u shape pillows - I'm not a back sleeper but I can imagine you'd have a hard time rolling onto your back with one of these! Does take up a lot of the bed though! As pp said might be worth starting early to get used to it...
