I can see congratulations!

twinningatlife · 30/08/2021 08:06

I can see something on yesterday's one but would have expected today's to be darker - unfortunately Clearblue are well known for having wicked evap lines so I'm going to say it's a BFN this time x

Worried it isn't darker than yesterday especially time of day I took it and now I'm worrying it's grey!!! Had such a rough misscarriage in December that I'm panicking over everything now!

Who said not to trust FRER?! 🤣 they are the only brand I'd trust testing this early/not sure of ovulation dates and I had 8 years of primary and secondary infertility and 9 pregnancies (7 losses)

I had a molar pregnancy in December and had to use them to measure to zero and had a line even when my bloods came back 3mlu.

In feb, March and April my periods were late due to my body being everywhere because of my d&c and they had faint lines every single time. I won't be wasting my money with them again.

Isn't a competition who's used them the most and why. I'm explaining that I do not trust them from experience and won't be using them based on that. Please don't comment on here anymore, thank you.

@gggei
Wow you are rude

All I was saying is I've got a long history of using frer

And frer are so sensitive they are able to pick up any level of Hcg

But you do you

kirstyr3892 · 30/08/2021 08:50

Bit harsh @gggei...

@twinningatlife is only saying what a lot of people will agree with - that FRER are the most accurate/reliable. Honestly, I wouldn't trust either of those Clear Blue tests and would get another pink dye one (of any brand). Maybe wait a few days and try again and if you're not sure how many DPO you are.

ohihateithere · 30/08/2021 08:56

I can see a line, however I had a line on these a few months ago and I wasn't pregnant.

I'm 8 weeks now and tested with first response and it was spot on.

So I would say not trust those and get some other tests.

As below I just don't trust frer, I've tested with these clear blue and got stark white negatives so that's what I'm currently comparing too x

I'd be a bit concerned that today's one is fainter / less clear than yesterday's. Hate to say it but you'll have to wait a few days to know for sure 😫

I used Poundland cheapies when ttc and never had a hint of an evap line and got a very faint positive at 9 DPO so I would recommend them!

saladcreamandegg · 30/08/2021 09:49

I used to be obsessed with testing and saw many lines like this that were evap lines. One all sorts of brands including clearblue and frer. From my experience when it's a BFP line there is definite colour and sharpe edges defining the line. I'm saying this as I used to post similar posts and have loads of people telling me it was BFP and I'd get even more hopeful and then my period would come. I hope it is a BFP but looking at it at this stage I wouldn't take it as a certain.

Ah I do know I've been pregnant twice last year I tested early and followed the journey with faint lines :)

I see a line on the top test but to me it looks gray and no colour to it, bottom test can't see a line on it maybe wait 2 days and test again goodluck 💚

grapestar · 30/08/2021 11:02

Have you used a clear blue digital? I was getting very faint lines like yours at the start and used a digital to confirm my BFP approx 4 days before period due

Sceptre86 · 30/08/2021 11:52

I would use a clear blue digital. I've always tested 5 days before my period was due and got my positive results confirmed that way. Best of luck whatever you decide to use x

MrsMcNtobe · 30/08/2021 18:35

@gggei I got my first BFP on a Tesco cheapie before I tried any other brands
