Waters broke last night in a massive gush. Started getting contractions an hour later. Like a muppet I'm worried about inconveniencing everyone else. We moved 4 days ago so much to do 😪 also terrified and my last birth nearly killed me

I think you should be focussed on counting contractions and your getting to hospital/birth centenary plan! Babies come when they come and yours is on its way now - do you need to wake your partner to pack the car/ call people to plan care for any other dc? Are they still far apart and maybe you should have a shower/sit on a fitball and try to relax?

I hope you are in the labour ward OP and not at home. 37 weeks is considered full term. Sending you good wishes and lots of luck.

*birthing centre of course, you can plan the centenary when you have more time.

I've woken him and calledmy mum to start the two hour trek to come look after my son. I called triage they are 11mins apart at the moment so the said wait a bit longer before coming in.

Hospital bag, do you need clothes on, shoes on- easier to dress now than when contractions are 3 mins apart! snacks, water bottle, phone charger?
