Burning/stinging pain in one breast - 35 weeks

Hi folks,

Over the last week I've been getting a burning pain in one of my breasts. The pain isn't all the time, mostly when I've been lying down on that side and I get up, I feel that rush of pain for a few seconds. Also if I'm bending down, or if I'm leaning over to grab something and my arm squashes my boob.

I spoke to my community midwife and she said it's probably a bit too early for it to be milk ducts being blocked, but that I should see the GP. Saw the GP and she couldn't find anything out of the ordinary and just said to keep an eye on it.

Has anyone experienced this??

I had very similar. My nipples would burn like someone at poked a hot poker through them, it would last for several minutes and would affect both sides. My baby is 4 days old now and haven't felt it since he was born and he's happily breast feeding. I just put it down to hormonal changes and getting ready to feed.
