Just that! it happens a lot, probably once an hour or so. Its so strange! Its usually when baby is having a wriggle. Sounds like knuckles cracking!

I had this all the time with my eldest. No idea what it was as he doesn’t make those sounds now!

'Bump' is, rather rudely, trying to get your attention. Probably thinks of you as a waitress.

(... which you will be, more or less, soon...!)

Yes!! Mine used to do this all the time and I could never work out why it did.

Yes! Mine is currently doing this a couple of times a day (28w). It’s usually when baby is adjusting and having a big moving session! I’m curious to know what it is

BowsandBaking · 28/08/2021 22:48

I’m 38w even! Clicking been happening for weeks now

Ah so glad it's not just me. It's so weird! I'd love to know what it is.

My bump made clicking noises, my girl is 2 weeks old now and she has very clicky shoulders, not sure if they’re related..?

Jaymar · 28/08/2021 23:54

Yes! I’m 31 weeks and have had this for a week or so. From what I could see online they aren’t sure what causes it but possibly baby’s joints clicking or amniotic fluid moving.

Mine did too when I was pregnant with my first. No one could tell me anything about it, I went mad trying to figure it out. The only thing I found out was that I wasn’t the only one. Sorry, can’t be any more help
