Balloon induction or pessary?

Hi all, being induced tonight and I have the choice of two types of induction. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I’ve had the balloon twice. It’s not fun but it’s fine. My understanding is the studies show better outcomes with the balloon than the pessaries.

I had the pessary inserted and it fell out after 2 hours had to have it put back in and OMG it was painful second time round!! I'd not been given the option of the balloon and I have no idea what it is anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️
