Hoping this is the start of labour

Not really sure what the aim of this post will be, think I just need a space to vent lol!
Exactly 39 weeks today and since about 2pm I’ve been getting on and off period like pains. Nothing too uncomfortable to noticeable.
Started the morning off with an upset stomach (if you get my vibe)
So really hoping this is the start of labour.. at least very early anyway!
Did anybody experience anything similar or am I likely to have this for days still? Absolutely exhausted now and just ready to meet my baby..

I had very mild period pains that started around 9pm, barely noticeable. Baby had arrived by 6am the next morning I was 38+5.

Wow, that sounds promising!... somethings telling me she’s going to be stubborn a little while longer though lol x

Yep I started with period pains too!
Do laps of the garden

I started with mild pains over the day then they got regular that night, had the baby by mid morning!!!

Think it might have been a false start, pains have stopped pretty much since tea time :( hopefully not too much longer now
