3D Baby scan

Which week is best to get clear images of baby on a 3D baby scan? I am currently 24 weeks :)

I've no idea, but before you book and pay, check if there are any Groupon deals near where you live, coz you can save loads.

Hi I’m a sonographer and usually recommend about 26- 28 weeks as the best time to book. After 30 weeks it can be much more difficult to get a good view.

I had a 4d scan at 29+3 this time around and the images were super clear. So much detail. Saw his perfect face and chubby cheeks. Was incredible.

With my first we had a 4d scan at 28 weeks but she was such a tiny baby that they said to come back two weeks later where the images were clearer and she had put on a bit of fat. With my second we had a scan at 28 weeks again and it was very clear. This has reminded me that I should probably think about booking a scan for this pregnancy as I'm 22 weeks now

We had one at 27 weeks, the pictures were really clear

As long as baby is cooperating you should get some lovely shots. Good luck 🤞
