It could easily be from sex, or it could be that you've nicked yourself wiping, or anything really.

Don't stress about a dot of blood, honestly. I've had two bleeds in pregnancy, and so far, the EPU has said that they can't do anything unless there's enough blood to fill a pad within 2 hours.

I'm nearly 24 weeks now and things have settled a lot and there hasn't been blood for a while, but its normal for there to be small amounts for some people.

But call your midwives if you're concerned and hopefully they'll put your mind at rest!

Thank you, I went into hospital a few weeks ago as I was getting a lot of discharge turned out to be thrush and she checked my cervix ect and everything seemed to be closed and fine and listened to baby's heartbeat and she said the heartbeat is strong, so I assumed nothing to worry about just alarming when you see blood isn't it my first pregnancy and took us 4 years to get to where I am today, I have a midwife appt Tuesday if happens again I will call if not I will mention it on Tuesday x

I had the same thing at 13 weeks, and drove myself wild with panic. I spoke to a midwife and they said a drop of blood and no cramps is nothing to worry about. Try to relax! And if you can’t, the midwives were wonderfully patient with me so just give them a call for some reassurance.
I’m now watching my 3 month old wriggling around on the baby monitor! So hang on in there, 9 months is a loooong time to wait
