Early scan show sac and yolk sac

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me I had a early scan yesterday due to having 5 miscarriages throu my app on my phone it stated I was 7 weeks 3 days when I had my scan done I’m only 5 half weeks I was gutted that I see no baby or heart beat just a sac and yolk sac I have been re booked for 2/3 weeks time and I just feel it going to be so long waiting to find out if it going to go well or not I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience x

I had an early scan at 5 weeks where we only saw the sac and yolk too, I had thought I was about 6 and a half weeks so feared the worst. Went back 2 weeks later and saw baby with a heartbeat and measured 7 weeks. I'm 9 weeks now. It is a long wait but it is worth it, going any earlier might just result in more disappointment/worry for nothing if its still too early.

It's very common op.
We have no idea when we implant which is why we go off LMP.
My dates were off for my DS aswell, and I only seen a sac and yolk sac, the next week there was a fetal pole with a HB.

I had an early scan at that time too due to some concerns. You won't see/hear the heartbeat until week 6-7 I think. They can't confirm viability of the foetus from the scan either at 5 weeks. But in a couple of weeks you can have all of this confirmed. Which is what I then did.

Try not to stress, and book another scan in for a couple of weeks if your anxious.

Yep! I thought I was nearly 8 weeks but I was measuring 5w6ds with the sac & yolk sac present. Went back two weeks later & all fine! It's very common so don't stress yourself (easier said than done, I know...)

My baby is 9 weeks old now & all good.

I had an early scan on Monday (due to a couple of small bleeds) and from my LMP I was 5wks 6d. They only saw the sac and yolk but it was measuring just over 6 weeks. I'm going back next Friday for another scan and they said by then they should be able to see the baby.

So yes, it seems as though it's completely normal (as nerve wracking as it is)

Yes I had mine Friday. We saw a tiny baby and a little flickering heartbeat, measuring 7 weeks 2 days ☺️

This happened to me, and then yesterday I went for a scan and saw my baby's heartbeat. 💕

I had my early scan today, I thought I was 6/7 weeks but could only see sac and yolk. They said my sac was measuring at 5w 4 days. Tbh the woman doing the scan wasn't very nice, pretty much said there was no baby and spoke about miscarriage. It wasn't untill I had got dressed and was upset the nurse had said it could be just to early to see am back in 2 weeks but with a previous mc am stressed! X
