Low HCG levels

Hi all, this morning I had some very minimal cramping and brown discharge. Whilst I wasn't overly concerned, having had a miscarriage previously I decided to go to a and e to get checked out. The doctor told me that I probably either had or am having a miscarriage. Needless to say I am in shock and quite confused and this was not what I was expecting. My HCG level today was 59.2 (I am 5 weeks and 3 days). I have to go back on Wednesday to get more bloods done - I assume to see if HCG has risen. I still want to hold on to hope but the fact the doctor said it's already happened/is happening is very upsetting. Has anyone experienced this? Good or bad outcome? Thank you x

My HCG levels at 3 weeks 4 days was 65.. it seems quite low for being over 5 weeks. Hope everything turns out ok for you though! Xx

It's hard to know with the one number on its own, its the doubling of the number that is important so you should know for definite on Wednesday.
I would say it's on the low side for over 5 weeks but a typical range for 5 weeks is 18-7340 according to google so it's still within a normal range. Mine at 4w6d was 994 which was on the high side.
I've had brown discharge turn in to a miscarriage and brown discharge where everything was fine and I had a healthy baby. I hope it goes well for you OP
