Hello! I had been monitoring my cycle using the free GLOW app for quite a while and this cycle, started using the clearblue advanced fertility monitor alongside. According to the app, i had been due to ovulate on the 16th but I decided to follow the monitor and just keep logging in the app anyway. I consistently had low readings every day on the CB monitor until today when I got a peak (annoyingly, I missed the test window yesterday which is the only time I have missed it). I am CD 18.
I read the babydust book and if possible would like to sway for a girl (obviously a healthy baby is the most important thing and as it's my first cycle, who knows what my fertility ability will be). Does anyone have any experience with the CB monitor? Did peak indicate ovulation for you or did you have a couple of days before ovulation? How many days did you get peak for?
To sway girl, the book suggests that you DTD in the days before ovulation so not sure if I should wait until next month or go for it today?
