No movements 16 weeks, second pregnancy

I'm 16 weeks with my second baby and really worried about the fact I've felt no movements at all yet. With my first I could feel distinct flutters at 15 weeks and definite movements at 16 weeks. I know you're supposed to feel kicks earlier in second pregnancies so I'm concerned about the lack of movement. I've tried drinking sweet drinks and lying down to "listen" and there's absolutely nothing. 12 week scan was fine and showed no issues, I haven't had any bleeding or cramping - the only other things that seem different this time are my bump, which seemed huge at 13 weeks and has now shrunk, making the maternity clothes I'd started wearing a few weeks ago feel baggy - and some dull lower back pain which I'd assumed was muscular. I'm on holiday at the moment so can't see the midwife, my next midwife appointment is in a week. Just looking for some reassurance that this could all be normal, so I can try to enjoy the rest of my holiday. Thank you!

Far too early, likely all fine.

Bloating was likely the cause of a large bump around 12 /13 which has now gone down.

With my 2nd baby I didn’t feel movement until 21 weeks (anterior placenta)

Yep, normal. All pregnancies are different. Could just be the way baby is laying, which remember, will still be fairly small at this point. You could even have an anterior placenta which will make movements more tricky to feel.

I didn't feel movement with my second until 20+ weeks. I had an anterior placenta with both my 1st and 2nd. 16 weeks is still really early.
