Hi I had my midwifes appointment and on the nhs website it says that I should have gotten measure but I didn't . Although she did say I will have scans at 32 and 36 weeks due to me being a ex smoker so will it be because of the scans she doesn't need to check now ?

I've had 5 midwife apps now for various reasons and haven't been measured once.. I figured if all's well with the scans and blood pressure, urine and blood samples then there no need to measure.
I wouldn't worry but maybe ask next time if you think it'll help allay concerns.

I had my babies ages ago, but don't remember getting my belly measured even once. I wouldn't worry.

Helloxxxxxx
Hi I'm 24+3 today Iv been feeling pressure for weeks like the baby just getting heavy but all of a sudden it feels like a massive weight and like he's going to fall out of me , is this normal or should I be concerned

Helloxxxxxx
It's just really worrying me as I don't know what's normal and what isn't and I'm scared it's something bad if It's not normal

Helloxxxxxx
Thanks for the advise it's just getting worse I am going to see who I can call in the morning . In the slightest movement causing such a worrying/painful feeling which is quite scary so I was just really worried x

Helloxxxxxx
Hi guys today I have lost some mucus in the toilet it was white and enough to spot and see it seperating , do you think it's in relation to the pressure I was feeling ? It's my first pregnancy , idk wether it was the mucus plug ?

Helloxxxxxx

@Helloxxxxxx Lots of people have posted messages of support on your other thread, including me. We’ve even posted that we hope you are ok.

It would be nice to let people on that thread know that you are ok before you start a new thread about something else.

After all, pp have invested their time and effort to respond to what we believed was a genuine post.

@Helloxxxxxx that’s great news and thanks for going back to your other thread and letting pp know that you’re ok Flowers

My midwife said they’d start doing the belly measurements from 27 weeks so it might be at your next check up. Always ask them if you’re unsure or think they’ve missed something, doesn’t hurt to check.

My mw wouldn't do fundal height check as I'm having growth scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks and she said scans more accurate so they won't bother with fundal height at all. Pretty dissapointed as want to know if my bump (third baby) is measuring larger than normal
