Sciatic nerve pain

Has anyone experienced nerve pain in their buttocks ? I'm 36 weeks and for the last week when I sit up I have a nerve pain in my left butt cheek but today it's been so bad and it radiated down too my thigh - has anyone got any advice too ease it?

Sorry OP not much in the way of advice. I had sciatic nerve pain with all my pregnancies from around 20 weeks. By the end it was always almost unbearable. But it has always disappeared immediately after I had my babies.

Warm baths and hot water bottles always eased the pain for me.

Yep that's fairly common sciatic pain. Painkillers, ice it, keep knees together getting out of bed, car etc. Pillow between your knees when sleeping, see a physio, osteopath or deep tissue masseuse if you want more relief.

There are pregnancy safe stretches you can do but I would really recommend seeing an osteopath. Deal with it quickly so you aren't still in pain years after you give birth like this idiot here
