Late onset OHSS

Hi all. DH and I have just undergone our first round of IVF and we are unbelievably lucky to have gotten a BFP yesterday at 9dp3dt. I had an inkling it would be positive as I started to develop (what I now realise was) late onset OHSS symptoms during last week.

I am unbelievably bloated, in a lot of pain, can't sleep or stand up straight, can't really eat and generally feeling miserable. The thought of this continuing for another 6 weeks or so is terrifying me. I have an appointment at my clinic tomorrow for bloods and I'm going to ask them to scan me. If not I will call 111 to see if I can get an appointment at my local EPU.

I just wondered if there was anyone else out there who has been through this and had any tips to stay sane?!

Hydrate!! Push those fluids!!!! I was recommended electrolytic drinks. They will likely put you on blood thinning injections. Likely until 12 weeks. Take it easy and take care.

Thanks @physicskate I am hydrating as much as I can stomach (literally). It's SO daunting that this could go on for so long....
