3/5 engaged, how long until labour?

Have just had an anti natal appt today and the MW told me I was 3/5 engaged. I'm due for a CS in 11 days at 38 wks pregnant(cs due to spinal disc prolapse) and we live out in the sticks miles away from hospital and am now worried baby might try and make an early appearance.
I know there are huge variations, but as a guide can anyone tell me how soon they went into labour after they found out they were 3/5 or there abouts. What are my chances of lasting the 11 days? And should i think about camping in the hospital car park

I was 3/5 just over 2 weeks ago, went again Tue just gone and am now 4/5!! I'm 37 weeks today. Good luck from me too!!

ds2 was 3/5 engaged for the last 6-7 weeks of my pregnancy, it doesn't mean labours imminent so try not to worry

i was 3/5 from 34 weeks and went into labour at 40 weeks

without panicking you - remember all the stories that you've just read about being engaged for weeks ok?

Awen - went to MW a week ago (I think) to be told she was 3/5 engaged and she's in labour at the moment.

oh crap! funny old thing having loads of twinges now, dunno what early labour feels like either.

I was 3/5 at 31 weeks and was eventually induced at 41+6 weeks... first baby...

dont worry - i was 3/5 engaged on 5 november and baby was born on 12 dec

if you do go into labour early, chances are you will have plenty time to get to the hospital
