5 Weeks 2 Days - Bleeding

Hi Everyone, I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times and I have read quite a bit online. But I think it really puts my mind at ease when I can speak to people who have been through the same thing.

On Friday I had an Internal scan, and about an hour afterwards I had some really light pink blood when I wiped. Only lasted about 10 mins so I thought it was normal. Last night, me and my partner DTD and straight after I had bright red blood when I was wiping. I lasted a good 30 mins but was never enough to like drip into the toilet or into my underwear. There is absolutely nothing this morning but I can't stop thinking about it.

This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what's normal and what isn't. Have you experienced blood after sex? Should I speak to someone?

Hi @xomum - I had the same thing week 4 all the way week 8. Light pink or brown when i wipe, a bit of red after DD or if i was on long walk. I’m 18 weeks now and it just stopped when things progresses along.

It is super normal but i know it’s hard not to worry. I decided to go for a private at week 6 to relieve my anxiety. My doctor had zero concerns about the spotting . Go see your doctor if you are concerned but in most cases it’s totally normal and will go away. Take care!
