Early scan, so worried!

Hey ladies!

I’ve got an early reassurance scan booked next week in EPU (self referral) when I should be around 8 weeks pregnant.
I had a MMC last year, and I’m just so scared I’m going to end up in same predicament. I’ve not even booked in properly with midwife yet as I feel like I’m ‘wasting their time’.

The reason I’m so worried is because I don’t have any morning sickness and with my two DS I had it so bad all way through from conception to birth practically and I didn’t have it with MMC, so feel like it’s a bad sign. I do have sore boobs, odd headache and peeing a lot though. I’ve went off so much food too and cups of tea but I don’t know whether I’m sick with nerves rather than pregnancy nauseated?

Don’t really know where this thread is going? Just wanting to know if anyone been through same what there outcome were etc.

My DD was a very much healthy pregnancy with absolutely no symptoms at all, no sickness, no nausea, not really painful
Boobs, absolutely nothing except a round belly at about 22 weeks.

I’m about 9weeks now and same again, no symptoms except maybe my nipples feel like they’ve been frying in the sun for 8 years whenever they brush against anything strong than a gust of wind.

That’s so reassuring I’m so happy for you and hope I’ll have same outcome! I think I’m just worrying so much because I’ve had it before with my healthy pregnancies. The over thinking and excessive googling is driving me insane!

It will do, I can’t lie - I’ve had a few time this pregnancy where I’ve just thought “I just can’t be pregnant, nothing about me thinks I’m pregnant” - but knowing that I had DD with a pregnancy with no symptoms put my mind at ease. I’ll still feel more reassured when I go for my scan obviously.

But it’s completely normal to have a symptom-less pregnancy, even if your had all the symptoms before. Please try not to stress! Flowers

When I was pregnant with my daughter I was sick multiple times a day from 8-16 weeks.

I'm now pregnant again and have not been sick once (just nausea!). All is fine as I've just had my dating scan!

Best of luck to you xx

Aww @Charm23 thank you so much for sharing that with me! That’s so so reassuring and what I needed! I definitely do have some sort of nausea because I’m starving snd I can’t eat without feeling sick but don’t be sick, so I’m hoping all is well!

Thank you and all best to you tooFlowers
