i’m rhesus negative and on wednesday i had some brown discharge which i thought could be old blood so i went to the maternity unit, they tested my blood to see if i needed an anti-d jab and sent me home saying i would get a phone call to come back if i needed it. they phoned me today and asked to make an appointment, i asked if the blood test came back saying i need one and they said yes. i asked if that means the bleed came from my
womb or something but then they said that it’s just to cover any bleeds. now i’m worrying incase this means i’m sensitized, one minute they said the blood test came back saying i need it but then they said it’s just to cover the bleed? just wondering if anyone could explain to me as i’m so confused

Sounds like they're not really sure where it came from so just covering their basis. better to have and not need than need and not have. How many weeks are you?

Just one injection reducing sensitivity by 99.5% so i am sure you will be fine
