Early reassurance scan nerves

Hi,

I had missed miscarriage at 9 weeks in March. I have since conceived again and have booked an early reassurance scan (after a hard think about it for a week).

I wanted the scan a little over 9 weeks but all they could offer me was the day I turned exactly 9 weeks on so I took it. It’s in 3 weeks and I am absolutely a bag of nerves. I don’t think I can cope with the same news of another missed miscarriage. I am 6w1d and have suffered no painful cramps or bleeding/spotting.

Any positive stories or any advice to calm my nerves?

I was meant to have mine today but they rang and cancelled due to sonograph illness, so I'm booked for the 4th September now.

@Bizawit I am not the fit person I was the first time round unfortunately but it did look like it levelled off at some point. That's what I keep telling myself, the chances of it being OK are far higher than not... I did actually manage to get the basic bloods done by my gp as well so surely I can't have that much bad luck for it to happen 3 times. We've also had a death in the family in the last 2 weeks and they say there has to be a death to be a birth 🙏 honestly I'm actually crackers 🤦‍♀️

Yeah mine too, we can countdown together 😁 and yeah I was disappointed, looking that the advantages though I'll see more as I'll be nearly 10 weeks by then

Just thought I would let you ladies know I had my early scan today!

Baby is measuring right on track at nearly 8 weeks and the heart beat was flickering away!

So glad I went.

I had mine today and was 6+3 and we saw a little heartbeat. Crossing my fingers the next 6 weeks go well and we get a successful 12 week scan 🤞🏻❤️

We've had our scan today, there was a baby with a heartbeat 😭 so relieved 😌

8+3 so a couple of days behind what I expected but nothing drastic. Just a few more weeks to get to 12 weeks now 🙈

Hey, I hope your all well! I've just gotten back from my early scan, 9+4 tiny little heart beat ❤️ took my breath away. Most amazing thing ever!!

Hi there, I'm doing really well thank you, I'm alot less worried then before. I have my 12 week scan on the 22nd September it's my husbands birthday 😁. How are you doing? Have you gotten a date for you 12 week scan yet?

Just really up and down with it all to be honest! Feel like I can't even dare to get my hopes up still. Luckily we're away for a week next week so that will be a good distraction. Glad you're feeling OK about it! Mines 27th.

Going away for the week will be a great distraction, I'm currently camping until Friday and I've been here since last Saturday and it's kept my head off things massively. I don't know if this will help but I've gone onto a clothes shop and start adding things to my basket like little bibs and vest etc... That's helped me alot
