Hi there
I'm 20 weeks gone and the other night while lying down I felt a bit of discomfort and then could feel a small lump in my stomach near the pubic area. Is this likely to be the baby's head or bum? It feels a bit uncomfortable when this happens - like twinges.

Sounds like baby to me! Is this your first? I was around 18 -20 weeks with dd when I first became aware of her! Very odd feeling! I didn't really try to feel her with my hands though. I'm sure it is your lo - check with the mw at your next visit.

Hi
I'm 19 weeks have felt this too, mostly in the morning. It's like the area goes sort of firm and I can feel a lump, sometimes around the pubic area, now tends to be more towards the stomach. Don't know but sure it's baby.
