Miscarrying?

This is the first time I've used mumsnet, so I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.
I'm losing my mind and desperate for help!
Today I am 5+5 pregnant. 2 days ago I woke up and had light red blood when I wiped. It only happened briefly on one toilet trip. The rest of the day was fine. Then in the evening I suddenly had brown, stringy tissue. I went to bed and woke up to nothing. Then later in the day I had bright red blood when I wiped. This went on for a few hours, but never was in my underwear.
This morning, I was having brown discharge again and this evening it seems less brown, but now ewcm like.
Sorry for all the details, I'm finding it impossible to understand what this means!
Epu point blank refuse to see me until 10 WEEKS! Due to covid regulations (I live in Wales) told me to wait 3 weeks and take a test. Also to go to a&e if I am bleeding through more than 3 pads an hour. I feel like I'm I limbo and have nowhere to turn. Anyone have any experience on this kind if bleeding?

So sorry to hear you are going through this. I didn't want to just read and not response .

During my 1st pregnancy I experienced some bleeding a few times. It started with bright red then would turn brown. This happened a few times , one time I even have a blood clot which I completely freaked out about. I got checked over at the early pregnancy clinic each time and all was fine , I was never given a reason for the bleeding.

I hope everything works out for you, I can't believe the early pregnancy unit won't see you.

I know before I got refereed there by a doctor, I went to a&e with bleeding, they sent me to the doctors in the A&e department and they referred me to the pregnancy clinic . This was very early on as well . Maybe try that?

Thank you for replying. :) I called them again this morning telling them I just needed to know if my baby was gone or not. They're still refusing to see me, still telling me to take a test in 3 weeks 😔 the epu in my hospital is closed and the closest is an hour and a half away. Told I could only go to A&E if I was passing large clots and bleeding through more than 3 pads an hour. They just expect me to wait 3 weeks 😪 i don't understand how covid can stop them seeing me

Have you had any pain or discomfort? When I miscarried i had period pains along with the bleeding.

Unfortunately it’s normal that they won’t see you - covid or not. They’re particularly against it so early on. They wouldn’t see me at 11 weeks when I had spotting and cramps. Can you book a private scan inbetween - they may not see a heartbeat as early however they would see the same as EPU if they scanned you. Goodluck
