Mucus plug?

Hi ladies, so I’m not sure if I’ve just lost my mucus plug or if it was just a hell of a lot of discharge (sorry for the tmi). I’m 38+5 and just wanted to know how long it was until labour started for you after losing the plug. I know everyone’s stories will be different. That is assuming I’ve even lost my plug lol, it didnt look like the usual discharge. This is 3rd baby for me however my first 2 was a EMCS and an induction so I never actually went naturally, this is the first time I’ve been allowed so I’m new to all of this haha

I used to be on the lookout for my plug towards the end but when i actually started losing it there was no mistaking!!!
Not like discharge at all. Proper long stretchy blobs of jelly...
First happened at 40 weeks exactly. Then a bit more a week after and the whole thing with a bloody show just after my waters went at 41w2.
Also i didn't have any other "signs" of labor...

@SunnySideUp2020 it definitely wasn’t like normal discharge but because I’ve not lost the plug before (or haven’t noticed) I didn’t want to automatically assume haha. I haven’t got any other signs of labour, I have been walking all day to try and get things moving however.
