second trimester heavy bleeding

Hi hope everyone fine, earlier today I had a massive bleed, got a scan in the morning has anyone experienced anything like this before and all was fine? I'm 17 weeks pregnant.

Hi hope everyone fine, earlier today I had a massive bleed, got a scan in the morning has anyone experienced anything like this before and all was fine? I'm 17 weeks pregnant.

Now the blood is very light

Apologies if this isn't relevant as I was about 35 weeks pregnant when this happened, but I had a really heavy random bleed. I thought my water had broken as it was so heavy.

I had to go to hospital and stay in for a few days as a precaution and they gave me steroid injections but everything was fine. I had the baby by planned section at 39ish weeks as planned and baby was perfectly fine. They couldn't find an explanation for why it happened.
