Hi, first of all I’m new here hello 👋
I’m 8 weeks pregnant today.. but on Tuesday afternoon I had a little bit of brown discharge then nothing.. but then on Wednesday the next day I had a bleed from 5am - 10am on and off not much.. Wednesday morning then nothing after that.. today I woke up and was all okay but at 11:30 today I had ALOT of brown discharge with clumps in? I have recently had a MC and I really can’t go through another one :( .. I have a scan booked for today at EPU but my anxiety is everywhere and I am not going! I have private scan on Sunday so I think I’ll wait till then see how I go :(

I would add a pic but not sure how? Haha

Has anyone else had similar and had a positive outcome

Hi OP sorry to hear this 😢 I had brown streaky discharge for 3 days at 5 weeks and it turned out to be implantation - EPU showed the beginning of a baby. Are you sure of your dates? You may be slightly earlier.

With my last MCs my bleeding was always red. Brown is often old blood and could be your body just having a clear out. Keeping everything crossed for you Smile

PS - I'm now 20 weeks and baby is fine

You should really go to EPU, waiting around is not going to help your anxiety.
I've had brown spotting and discharge in two pregnancies which has progressed into heavier bleeding and led to miscarriages both times. However, I've had brown spotting/discharge with my current pregnancy for 3 weeks now and a scan at EPU showed a little pocket of blood next to the sac that was causing the spotting. I'm 8 weeks now so still early days but have seen baby twice now with its heartbeat thumping away. I'm still getting the discharge on and off and it's really hard not to freak out every time. But without a scan there really is no telling if its something or nothing. I hope it's good news for you Flowers

Please go to the EPU darling to get yourself checked out. Worst case scenario, if needed they will be able to help you right away, it really is the best place. If it’s good news, you will know sooner Flowers
