Does anyone have really bad skin during pregnancy?

Before pregnancy, my skin was fine apart from the odd spot before periods. I am currently 16 weeks and my skin is awful. I have red spots (with no puss) all over my face! It is horrible.

Does anyone experience this and have any tips?

It's making me miserable 😔

I had it all the way to my third trimester. Its a bit better now at 36w, but its knocked my confidence

I have exactly this, my skin has gone mad! Mine is mainly around my chin and jaw which I assume is hormonal, nothing is getting rid 😭

At the moment I’m trying to strip my skincare back in the hope that what I used pre pregnancy is just too strong and my skin is more sensitive now? 🤞

I had PG roseacea. The GO can give you a roll on treatment if it's bothering you. Mine was super sore and needed treatment Thanks

No advice but solidarity. I had really terrible skin from about 6 weeks to 17 weeks. I’m now nearly 19 weeks and I’ve seen a big improvement in the last couple of weeks. So there is hope.

To add insult to injury I had glowing skin in my first pregnancy. I was looking forward to another 9 months of lovely skin when I got pregnant again but it wasn’t to be.

Yep me too. I normally get the odd spot around my chin when AF is due, but since being pregnant my skin has been terrible - mainly on my forehead too, where I NEVER got spots before! :(

Yes! I'm still very early on but my skin is awful. I have suffered with acne on and off all through my adult life, it recently cleared up and didn't break out before AF was due like it usually does (I had no AF symptoms and that's what made me think I was pregnant) but now it's awful, all up my cheeks, around my chin and jawline 🙈
Hoping it clears up soon!
