Hi everyone. I’m 38 weeks on Friday and I’m booked in for an induction. This is because babies growth has dropped down. I’ve been on birthing ball, I work stood up and i take the dogs for a walk every day so I’m always on my feet but when I went for a sweep yesterday my midwife said that the baby was really low but my cervix was high and she couldn’t reach it! So was unable to perform a sweep. I go again in the morning but I’m getting really worried. I don’t know what I can do to bring my cervix down and if my cervix is still high will they still induce me Friday?
They have said they are wanting to try the foley balloon but I don’t know if this is possible if my cervix is high so I’m worrying about what will happen.
This is baby number 4 but always gone into natural labour around due date so not experienced induction, sweeps and knowing where my cervix is etc so this is all new to me. Can anyone shine a light x
