I'm only 34 weeks but diagnosed with cholestasis which is linked to spontaneous early delivery.

I've been feeling very odd today, I had a check up this morning but feel very anxious about leaving the house and have cancelled my swimming this afternoon and planned meeting for coffee with friend, feeling tired but also very restless and suddenly anxious. I'm getting more pain down below and feeling general way more uncomfy.
I also feel nauseous and can't keep off the toilet.

This is my first so not really sure what to expect, just can't seem to shake a very weird feeling that something is coming.
All most like that weird feeling of impending doom when you're hungover Grin
Am I crazy? Has anyone felt like this in 3rd trimester? Is it normal?

In fairness I've slept terribly the last few nights so maybe just a bit overtired GrinBlush

Perhaps you should phone your midwife and remind her of your condition and tell her of your current symptoms.

That’s exactly how my labour started at 38+5.

In fact, I went into hospital about 6pm that evening because I felt anxious as movement had also lessened. They wanted to keep me in as I’d been in and out due to reduced movement, and induce me. It turned out I was already 3cm when they checked around 9pm, so just did a sweep and then suddenly around midnight things started and baby was in my arms at 4am after a short labour!

How did you get on ?

nellly · 20/08/2021 07:35

Went to see the midwife yesterday, I have lost a bit of my plug she believes but apparently it can regenerate so no need to worry.
The confusion and anxiety/pain all came from a raging UTI which they're going to put me on antibiotics for. Pregnancy is such a glamorous time isn't it GrinBlush

Hope you're feeling a bit better now that you're on the antibiotics Thanks
