Totally fine from what I remember, other than wishing labour would hurry up and start! Grin

Completely normal apart from being done with being pregnant (was a week over due ) was walking to the kitchen and my waters went ... wasn't sure if I had pee'd myself 😂 no symptoms before hand.

I just thought (well hoped) it was braxton hicks for the 1st 12 hours, was booked for elcs the next day. I was pulling the sofas out to clean under them and got 4 loads of washing done, full on nesting mode kicked in lol and I got all ready. Good job really as ended up in surgery with semi elective cesarean late that night, 1.6ltr blood loss in surgery as previous scar had started to rupture with contractions (she was 10lb 15oz). Baby is 9 days old now and thriving, I'm recovering well.

I felt really good aside from the annoyance of having to visit the loo every 5 minutes.

With my first I was in the worst mood the day before. Literally wanted to kill everyone and I'm usually so non confrontational but that day I told off my doctor for not knowing his job. Neither like me.

With my second I was induced alone due to covid so I mostly felt scared and a bit lonely, but as it wasn't a naturally starting Labour I guess I can't say how I felt was an indication id have the baby soon

With my first I woke up really late in the morning and then I got a text from someone I knew saying their sister had had a baby the day before and I was so annoyed by this as she was due after me 😂. I had a few people text that day asking if the baby had arrived yet (I wasn't even over due!) which enraged me even more. I felt a bit sad before going to bed that night thinking I would be pregnant for ever. My waters broke just after going to bed.

Mentally and emotionally, I felt fine, but I had very little appetite the day before (and even less once the first hint of a contraction appeared).
