Me.

Started bleeding at 5.5 weeks. UTTERLY terrified after three previous losses.

Bled and spotted off and on up to around twelve weeks, then again around 25 weeks I think.

Worse after exercise/ bowel movement and basically we quit any sex that might aggravate it.

Was a scary time. But toddler is currently trying to snooze in my cleavage.

Yes, three times.
Hormonal changes, increased blood supply and the increased weight of the uterus (womb) can cause the cervix (neck of the womb) to soften and bleed. This condition is called cervical erosion (or ectropion) and is harmless. If this is confirmed you may experience episodes of bleeding anytime during your pregnancy.

Yes both times.

The bleeding carried on (on and off) till about 15/16 weeks as I recall. Like a PP I also eased off on sex as it brought the bleeding on.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have spotting and some bleeding due to it throughout (brown, red & pink). So unbelievably scary. Like others we stopped having sex as that always triggered it. Everything seems fine with baby though. It is an uncertain time but it doesn't necessarily mean that something bad will happen

Yes 2 successful pregnancies :)

Yes, she’s 26 now. Bled throughout, taken in several times but the blood was never from the pregnancy but from me.

Lots of love 💐

Yes he is currently yattering my ear off about minecraft I had his brother a couple of years later with no bleeding

MrsSkylerWhite · 18/08/2021 20:25

(Like others, we avoided sex and I didn’t walk too far because it brought it on each time).

thank you so much - it hasn't stopped now for 7 days so really worried but trying to keep calm on this!

Yes, on and off for months until about 20 weeks. Then I had a colposcopy and it stopped!

I've had three babies with cervical erosion. I've bled throughout each pregnancy on and off, which is terrifying obviously, but all of mine ended well so fingers crossed all will be ok for you. I did get extra scans because of the bleeding so that was reassuring.

I also bled a LOT during labour. I'm not sure if this is related but I thought I'd say, because the first time the midwives (and me) were freaking out about all the blood and it was really worrying but turned out to be nothing. It happened the other two times as well but I was more prepared.
