Hi all, first time posting, I'm 39 and TTC are there any recommendations for the best ovulation test kit to help me along? I also have PCOS so I have that and my age against me 😔

Hi lovely, I've spoken to my doctor today and she mentioned metformin so waiting for an answer on that. I'll have a look into the bracelet now I've not heard of that before x

I’m 39 and 35 weeks pregnant and while I don’t have pcos I couldn’t get to grips with tracking my temp for ovulation the standard way, and because my cycles were a little all over the place I never knew when to start doing ovulation tests.

So I invested in an OvuSense monitor. It’s a small device you wear internally overnight. It tracks your core body temp and then syncs the information to an app on your phone. It gives you a heads up of when ovulation is coming and then is able to confirm that ovulation has taken place based on your temp drops and rises.

I got my BFP after only 4 cycles using it. Had paid for a years subscription but definitely happy to have wasted it!

Meant to add, lots of women with pcos use it. There’s a Facebook group for OvuSense too where loads of women share their stories.

Awesome thanks so much, I'll take a look now, sadly I've only given myself until my 40th birthday to conceive which is next May 😔

Please don't put a dead line on yourself I know someone who thought she was going through the menapose at 47 and turned out she was pregnant if you where to stop at 40 the month after could be your month keep going you will get there 💚

@Mrswilliams1982 I also wouldn’t put a deadline on your ttc time.
I started at 37 and had always thought 40 would be my cut off for trying. But as it got closer we discussed it and decided that as long as I was fit and healthy enough and my body was still ovulating and doing what it needed to, we’d keep trying.
