Hi All,

I really need your experiences on the situation I’m going through.

Today I had HyCosy test and I was told like my left tube spilling not see towards left ovary , to be honest I didn’t understand what doctor said . I kept asking about the problem multiple times the doctor but he said left tube spill he didn’t see and he also didn’t tell the tube has blockage . He told he need to do HSG test to see clearly.

Had anyone faced similar issue? Also I didn’t feel any pain during the complete HyCosy test. Is no pain is common? Anyone referred to HSG after HyCosy test ?

Please throw me your experiences.

Thankyou

Hi I was sent for the hsg years ago after failing to conceive after an ectopic. I had one tube removed due to ectopic. I felt alot of pressure with the hycosy and they said they didnt see any spillage so I had the hsg which was quite painful to be honest and told the tube was definitely blocked but I did gather this after the hycosy when the doctor said there was no spillage at all so it was more than likely blocked. Unfortunately they couldn't unblock it but I have heard sometimes if it's a small blockage the dye can unlock it I'm not sure how true this is though. If the doctor hasnt actually said its blocked then it sounds promising. Take some paracetamol before you go in and you'll be fine. Good luck.

@Miracle29 did you ever conceive in the end?

Miracle29 · 04/04/2023 22:06

Unfortunately no I didn't. I started to get fluid build up in the tube and it was causing alot of problems, so I decided to have that one removed too and went for ivf which bypasses the tubes.

@Miracle29 thanks for your reply I hope your ivf worked ❤️
