Clear blue advances ovulation tests

First month of using the advanced ones. Before I was just using the pink ones.

It went from blank circle yesterday morning to static smiley this morning. No flashing smiley. Should I be concerned? Or is the fact I got a static still a good sign?

Have you made sure you started testing on the right day. in the instructions it tells you what day to start testing based on your cycle length. first day will always be blank as it is setting a baseline for your levels.

@Bells3032 - hey, yea I've been testing since 11th of august. Everyday has been blank until this morning when I had my static smiley.

On the leaflet it does say something about your hormone levels being too low to detect the rise

oh that's weird. sorry can't really help with that. that's weird. mayve retest in case faulty?

If you went first day testing blank to static then it may be a bit confused, but if you have been testing for several days with blank and static today then that's fine - get DTD!

Sometimes the hormone surges happen together and quickly - i.e. your oestrogen surge may have started yesterday after you tested, then LH a bit later - it has picked up on your LH surge which is the key

How long are you cycles normally OP? I was the other way and would had loads of flashing smileys before my static. It worked second cycle though :) 22 weeks pregnant today. They learn more and more every month so the more you use the same unit the better

Joined specifically to tell you not to worry about this. I had exactly the same thing last month when we started trying - just straight from circle to static face - and I got pregnant straight away. I took it to mean I’m extra fertile. But whatever it means it doesn’t seem to be anything to worry about!
