26 weeks pregnant - period sensations

Hi all

Over the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing period type sensations.

What I mean by this is the sensation of being about to start my period. They aren't cramps or pain but it's noticeable.

I went to triage last week and they did the Actum Partis test which came back as a faint positive so I have had the 2 x steroid injections. Nothing has happened in the last week regarding preterm labour.

I'm extremely anxious with this being my
Third pregnancy but my first to get this far.

My midwife is almost useless and I never seem to be able to get hold of her. (I've also never met her)

Baby is kicking and active.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Are these sensations normal?

I am 21 weeks and had had some recent period type pain that has radiated to my back. I make a point of resting up, plenty of fluids and bed rest which has helped and they have went again.

Have you tried this at all I know it sounds simplistic but sometimes we do too much and don't realise. It could also be more stretching with baby growing.

I’m 32 weeks and had that period feeling on and off the whole way through! It scared me shitless for the first 12 weeks but all has been absolutely fine. I didn’t have cramps but had the same ‘ache’ I used to feel the day before my period
